Why 2017 is the Year You Need to Go Mobile

If you’re looking to get in on the “mobile revolution,” the reality is, you’re late to the party. The revolution is already well underway, but that doesn’t mean you can make up for lost time. Since 2015, mobile searches have surpassed searches on desktop computers, and that divide only continues to grow with time.

Today’s business world has a large divide.  There are digital immigrants and digital natives trying to coexist in many offices.  Often, the natives want the immigrants to pick up their digital presence in the workplace.  It becomes particularly hard for those digital natives who have a digital immigrant for a boss. When that’s the case, you need a sales strategy to convince the guy in charge is important.

It used to be that the only competition a local business had to worry about was the other businesses in town. Sure, there were retail giants like Walmart which could leverage their size and legendary logistics networks, but all business was ultimately local.

Then technology changed all of that.

It’s a classic example of what worked fine just a couple of years ago, is quickly becoming the modern equivalent of an 8-Track.

One thing people thinking about opening their own business hear the most is that old cliché, “There’s nothing like being your own boss.” And it’s true, but It’s no walk in the park. It should be more like, “There’s nothing like being your own overworked ball of stress flipping out at inconsequential events, and wondering if your employees have any idea how much those damn paper clips they are making a chain out of cost!”
